Baby/Kids Raglan Hoodie Sewing Pattern

Regular price £28.49 Sale

Meet the new, updated version of our raglan sleeve hoodie. Now with more variations, a bottom trim and a new, colour photo tutorial!

Like all Baboosh Deigns, this clever top is made for growing. The length & sleeves are extra long, but the fitted cuffs & trim make sure there are no children drowning in their clothes.

This cool hooded sweatshirt can be made with any knitted sweatshirt / French terry materials. You call the shots! Just make sure it's stretchy enough, especially the cuffs...

You can make a lined hood as shown and really play around with the panels & pattern direction, but you can also stick with a single-layer hood. The new bottom trim can be omitted if you prefer a straighter, shorter look.

This is one of the slightly more challenging makes in our pattern range, if you are relatively new to sewing, why not have a go at the Harem or Leggy Pants first?

What you'll need (with lined hood & bottom trim):

Main Fabric: 3-6M to 9-12M: 0.7m, 12-18M to 2-3Y: 0.9m 3-4Y & 4-5Y: 1.0m, 5-6Y & 6-7Y: 1.1m, 7-8Y & 8-9Y: 1.2m, 9-10 & 10-11Y: 1.3m

Cuffs & Pocket Trims (min. width 1.5m): 3-6M to 9-12M: 0.4m, 12-18M to 2-3Y: 0.5m, 3-4Y to 10-11Y: 0.6m

You’ll also need a twin needle, or a coverstitch machine. Whenever the description mentions a twin needle, this means twin needle or coverstitch machine.
